Design House IDOLI is an exhibition and sales atelier made of square-timber logs and the natural stone of Lapland, complementing the modern HELMI glass kota (Lapp tepee) rest-stop. We're in the middle of a fascinating, serene wilderness area on the shores of Lake Ukonjärvi at the southernmost cove of the legendary Lake Inari.
We are Hanneli and Pekka Sillfors, adventurers who have lived in North Lapland for almost twenty years. Our roots are in the south, but are hearts are in the north.
Hanneli’s working background is connected with design, Pekka’s with advertising. Finnish design provides our connection. By means of Design House IDOLI, we want to offer an exceptional adventure experience to travelers to Lapland by merging and combining design with the peace and quiet of the wilderness.
